Head Professional………………………….  Neil Bidewell

 After winning the BC High School Golf Championships in 1993 Neil went on to study at Purdue University as well as the Universite Science Humaine in Strasbourg, France. In 1997, Neil joined the Canadian Professional Golfer’s Association apprenticing under Murray Poje at The Tsawwassen Golf & Country Club.  In 2008 Neil joined the team at King’s Links by the Sea.  Neil was very fortunate to have the support from not only the membership but the ownerships of both clubs. Neil has recently become the new Head Golf Professional at the Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club. He was very proudly the volunteer coach of the Delta Special Olympics Golf Team. Neil was also the Event Coordinator for the MJT Ford Go Golf! Junior Clinics across B.C., a free program for kids of all ages to be a part of the game of golf!  Neil is an avid curler and loves a game of chess from time to time.

Bachelor of Physical Education UBC  1980

Steve turned Professional in 1983.   His experience includes: Head Professional GolfTEC South Surrey, Head Teaching Professional Fairwinds GC. Learning Academy Director at Eaglequest, The Director of Golf at GolfTown Richmond, Director of Instruction at Meadows Golf Center, Teaching Professional at McCleery Golf Academy, Teaching Professional Delta Practice Center, Associate Professional at Ledgeview Golf and Country Club.

Trained as a Phys. Ed teacher, Steve has brought this skill of teaching athletics to his golf instruction.  He enjoys the interaction with people helping his clients achieve new levels in their games. He looks forward to helping you achieve your goals and become the player that you have always wanted to be.

LQ was born and raised in Vancouver. He worked in the Radio and Television industry for many years. He has a passion for golf and brings a wealth of customer service experience to Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club. Began work in the Pro Shop in December 2012.

Don joined our team in February 2015. Following 37 years of military service, he moved to the Oceanside area in August 2014.  Don previously worked at Berwick Heights in Nova Scotia  before and graduated from Wiflred Laurier’s Golf Management program in 2013. He is an active rules official and will be serving as the assistant-tournament director for Zone 6 BCGA.
